League Champions Past & Present

There are two separate compeitions during the season.

The first competition is the regular season which goes from May thru September.

The  members of the team that wins the regular season receives a commemorative jacket.

The second competition is a tournament which begins at the end of the regular season and is open to all teams regardless of where they finished in the regular season.

The members of the team that wins the tournament receives a commemorative t-shirt.

Prior to the creation of NYSSA in 2017 the league was part of Long Island Senior Softball (LISSA).

Since 2017 NYSSA has gained in popularity and enhanced its status with many new features including the use of professional ASA Umpires and an annual draft that significantly improves league wide parity.
